St Augustines star Chris Heron was delighted with his hat-trick in the Division Two Cup victory over Eyehurst Eagles.
Heron helped the Saints into the semi-final of the cup where they will play league leaders Valiant.
He said: "We knew the match would be difficult and we started slowly but we changed after the first goal. We must keep this up till the end of the season, but there are still many games left.
"Goals happen thanks to the effort of the entire team. We're playing well and I'm having a good run that I want to keep up.
"All the players are aware of the task ahead. We are 90 minutes away from the final and are in a good position in the league.”
The Saints travel to Chequers this weekend having beaten them twice already this season but Heron thinks the game will not be a simple task.
“We have to remain focused” said the 23 year old. “We will work hard at training and focus on one game at a time.
“They will be up for this match just like us so this will be no walk in the park for us, regardless of the previous results.”
